Mechanical Studio Completes 15km Crude Pipeline for Sentuo Oil Refinery

Project Overview

Mechanical Studio Limited has successfully completed the construction of a 15km, 24-inch crude oil pipeline for Sentuo Oil Refinery in Tema, Ghana — one of the most significant private pipeline construction projects delivered in the region.

The project connected the Sentuo Oil Refinery to the Tema Tank Farm, involving the supply of WPS/PQR certified welders, qualified pipefitters, and industrial labour throughout the construction programme.

Scope of Work

Mechanical Studio's scope included the supply of coded welders for the 24-inch mainline welding programme, qualified pipefitters for mechanical systems installation, and semi-skilled labour for general construction works. NDT and pressure testing support was also provided to ensure every weld met the required standards.

Completion & Certification

The project was completed on schedule with zero safety incidents across the duration of works. A verified completion certificate was issued by the client — Sentuo Oil Refinery — confirming the successful delivery of the pipeline to specification.
